Sense was appointed in March 2008 to carry out cost consultancy on one of the largest fit outs in the City of London this year for client Addleshaw Goddard at Milton Gate, 60 Chiswell Street, London.

Working alongside Fox & Co as client representative, GTMS as project manager, MCM as interior designers, Chapman Bathurst as service engineers, PTI as IT consultants and Overbury as main contractor the Sense team reached practical completion on 27 July, with the final account being agreed some five weeks earlier on 19 June.

The 163,000 sq ft fit out was completed within a seven month programme, within budget and included stripping out over 50,000 sq ft of developer fit out works, the installation of client staircases and lifts, fit out works over six floors, including an auditorium, a well being suite, staff restaurant and a client meeting and dining room floor.

Sense was also responsible for the cost management of professional fees, IT and furniture as well as the construction costs.
