In an integrated and efficient Mace Group solution for the healthcare sector, we are working very successfully as part of Support Services Partnership (SSP) in south west London to deliver a range of projects for a group of local Primary Care Trusts (PCTs).
Sense is providing cost consultancy services and subject to a VFM audit,
the construction works will be carried out by Como under a design and
build form of contract.
Mace has been working on the acquisition of a new headquarters building for Sutton and Merton PCT (SMPCT) since October 2008. Part of a new mixed use development by Durkan Developments, the Chorus building on The Broadway in Wimbledon has now been secured and a fit out project will get underway shortly. The building will provide office accommodation for a range of non-clinical departments from SMPCT as well as NHS Wandsworth and SSP.
Using the NHS project delivery vehicle LIFTCo through its company South West London Health Partnerships, Mace has been appointed to design and construct the fit out works for the 4,000 square metre building, within a £3m budget. The works will be completed and the building occupied by the end of 2009.
Mace Group's design team based at the Hertford office is providing architectural, mechanical and electrical services engineers and CDM coordination services.
