Facilities management services at More London

In 2006, Macro signed a three year contract to deliver facilities management and project management services to a prestigious client's offices near London Bridge and Waterloo.

Macro has been appointed to head the facility management operation in this client's new London headquarters building. The premises were fitted out under the supervision of the Macro team, which has now assumed operational control of the full range of support functions. The premises have a net internal area of around 30,000m2 and house 5,500 staff.

The Macro team managed the relocation of staff from offices across London into the new building, whilst snagging and defects works were still taking place, ensuring that the premises were functional and effective from day one.

Macro is providing FM and property services to all the client's premises in London. Services undertaken include:

• Disposal of residual property within the London estate
• Undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals
• Rating works
• Space and occupancy reviews
• All major and minor project works - including the acquisition and fitout of new premises in Jersey and Guernsey

• Facilities and project management team
• Outsourced service contracts procured or novated and renegotiated
• Handover from developers
• Performance and financial measures introduced
• Budgetary and cost control
