In 2006, Mace was appointed as Project Manager for this 1790 villa development by Dubai Properties, one of the Middle East’s premier developers and one of our most prestigious clients.
This 327 hectare gated community development is a ‘Spanish themed' project located in 'Dubailand', seena as 'the most ambitious leisure and entertainment project in the world', covering 3billion ft2 of land just south of central Dubai.
Mixing Spanish lifestyle living with water bodies, open courtyards and lush green landscaping, The Villa aims to appeal to those looking to be close to the city but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of the desert.
Employing a varied team of international consultants, including Spanish concept architect Nombela, it is the first villa project to be marketed by Dubai Properties (part of Dubai Holding) and is split into a number of different phases.
Phase 1-3 consists of 540 villas constructed by a number of different contractors, ranging from 4-6 bedroom homes of between 4500 and 7500ft2.
The community facilities phase sees 10 buildings being developed including a school, medical centre, several mosques and a variety of retail outlets and social clubs.
This large and complex project will also comprise over 22km of road and over 148 hectares of landscaping. The remaining 1260 plots are being developed by the public, allowing individuals to build their dream home in this idyllic setting.
When completed, it is anticipated that the development will be home to just under 10,000 residents.
