Mace Macro appoints North America team

23/10/2009
Mace Macro is pleased to announce the introduction of a new senior team in North America as a result of winning a seven-year deal with a financial services organisation to deliver facilities management services across its North American office portfolio.
James McMullian will be the North American account manager, responsible for leading the strategic, operational and financial activities of the organisation.
Sheri Knesek and Michael Nolan will hold the positions of regional facilities managers based In Houston, Texas and Toronto, Canada respectively. Knesek and Nolan will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships as well as the management of a sizable account throughout North America.
The senior team, together with a 40-strong support team will manage the rationalisation of service providers, develop standard process and procedures across all of the clients' locations and will provide more cost efficient and customer focussed services. The team will be based in nine offices, supporting 30 offices across America and Canada.
The contract is Macro's first in the American market and is significant in that Macro is amongst the very few UK companies that can support clients outsourced facilities management requirements across North America, Europe and the Middle East. The organisation sought bids on the open market in the United States and Macro secured the contract against stiff competition, proving that its business model can be translated globally.
Macro managing director Pete Brumby is keen to give credit where it's due: "This new contract is a major step forward for us and has been achieved on the basis of the excellent work Macro teams have done for our clients - wherever you look we have people doing great things for the clients"
Incorporated as a Mace Group subsidiary in 2002, Macro, now employs more than 300 people, has in excess of 200 clients and an expected turnover of £52m in 2009.
