Hadley Mace Ltd has been appointed to the Homes and Communities Agency Delivery Partner Panel in the Central and Southern regions. Panel members, in addition to working on HCA projects, will be available for procurement to local authorities, regional development agencies and other public agencies to deliver new homes through programmes such as the Local Authority New Build and Public Land Initiative.
The panel is not only designed to help speed up the procurement process for public sector agencies by providing access to a list of organisations that can assist with all stages of the development process, it will also support the HCA’s aim of encouraging construction firms into the housing market sector for the first time.
The Hadley Mace JV offers the HCA, local authorities and other public sector clients a one stop shop, bringing together the best the industry has to offer in consultancy and development skills, plus construction and property experience, helping to fund and bring forward regeneration schemes and housing starts, speeding up procurement and delivery of high quality sustainable development. The Hadley Mace JV has been created to bring innovation, value for money, improved delivery, and new approaches to the market in response to challenging market conditions.
Ian Eggers, Director of Hadley Mace JV and Director of Mace Group said "We are delighted to have been appointed to the Homes and Communities Agency Delivery Partner panels in the Central and Southern regions. The HCA's innovative approach in formulating the Delivery Partner Panel and the Public Land initiative provides a real and efficient way to create value, attract investment and stimulate the housing market and create along with it both affordable and private housing supply. It is a model that we hope to see adopted by other land owning public bodies"
