Mace Group continues to ISO 14001 accreditation with support from Mace Technology

Mace Group's ISO 14001 environmental management system was put to the test on 15th and 16th June when it was audited by our accreditation company SGS. The audit focused on Mace Technology's data centre projects at Telehouse West and Oakhill House Phase 3. The audit was very positive, thanks in large part to the professionalism of the Mace Technology team.

At Telehouse West, the auditor commended the level of commitment to environmental issues demonstrated by the site management and team. During the audit Mace Technology were able to demonstrate a close degree of liaison and engagement with the local community and Environmental Health Department of London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The auditor also commended the use of local contractors, which helped to reduce the carbon footprint for the project whilst improving response times and service levels for the project.

David Williams, Director at Mace Technology also commented: "On behalf of the Mace Technology Board I wish pass our sincere thanks and congratulations to each of our team members who contributed to this resounding success for the Mace Group."
