Como completes project for Johnson & Johnson

07/05/2008
Como Interiors has once again delivered another high quality fit out; this time adding to their work in the health care industry by delivering a project for client Johnson & Johnson in High Wycombe.
The concept behind the project was to change the working environment for Johnson & Johnson staff by creating more break out areas and new cellular office space while keeping the environmental impact in mind. The project encompassed five occupied buildings, two of which were completely stripped out and refitted, with the remaining three buildings subjected to a full refurbishment.
Tasked with completing the works in a tight 36 week programme, the team worked a total of 34 weekends including the Christmas and Easter breaks to ensure the deadline was met. ‘Business as usual’ for Johnson and Johnson was the Como mission statement and the whole project was carried out with no business interruption.
The project, by numbers:
- 5 buildings
- 36 week programme
- 64,000 metres of new data cabling
- 324 new offices
- 724 tonnes of waste removed
Works for Johnson and Johnson continue now with the Como Special projects team working in parts of the building.
