This is an open event and members of the public are invited to watch the action for donation of £5, which will go straight into the fundraising pot for WaterAid. Just £15 can provide a person with a lasting supply of water and sanitation. Monies raised from the event will support the work that WaterAid carries out in the developing world to enable some of the world’s poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.
The event has already picked up interest from the media, with national sports radio channel TalkSport publicising the event this week and New Civil Engineer (NCE) secured as media partner.
